ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
V-TEP is a comprehensive professional development initiative designed to strengthen communication, classroom management, and instructional effectiveness. It equips educators with practical strategies for classroom engagement, student participation, lesson delivery, and professional confidence — going beyond language proficiency to develop interpersonal, pedagogical, and leadership skills.

PROGRAMME AT A GLANCE
V-TEP is structured as a modular, progressive learning journey spanning 30 hours in total. The programme is divided into 10 focused modules of 3 hours each, designed to build skills sequentially — from foundational educator identity through to digital fluency and teacher leadership.

THE V-TEP MODULES

MODULE 1 – THE MODERN EDUCATOR
Evolving from a Subject Expert to an Inspiring Facilitator. This module broadens the educator’s role — from content deliverer to mentor, motivator, and reflective practitioner. Participants explore 21st-century teaching expectations, learner-centred approaches, professional identity, and growth mindset to build a strong foundation for the programme.

MODULE 2 – COMMUNICATION EXCELLENCE
Module 2 equips educators with the verbal and non-verbal communication skills needed to engage students, deliver clear instructions, and build meaningful professional relationships. Teachers develop confidence in spoken expression, active listening, and purposeful questioning to elevate every classroom interaction. Neutral and global communication, emphasis on voice and accent, avoiding mother tongue influence and regionalism.

MODULE 3 – CLASSROOM PRESENCE & CONFIDENCE
This module strengthens teacher presence through body language, movement, energy, and appearance. Educators learn to project confidence, hold attention, and create a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere — transforming how students perceive and respond to their teacher.

MODULE 4 – STUDENT ENGAGEMENT & ACTIVE LEARNING
This module equips educators with the strategies and tools to transform passive classrooms into dynamic, student-centred learning spaces. Teachers explore how to increase participation, design engaging lessons, promote critical thinking, and sustain learner motivation through interactive and differentiated approaches.

MODULE 5 – POSITIVE CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
This module equips educators with practical tools to foster positive behaviour, discipline, and emotional safety. Teachers explore how to establish clear routines, build mutual respect, and create inclusive learning environments where every student feels valued and motivated to engage.

MODULE 6 – PRESENTATION & FACILITATION SKILLS
Delivering Lessons with Clarity, Confidence and Impact. Teachers develop the ability to explain concepts clearly, use storytelling, structure lessons effectively, and facilitate dynamic classroom discussions that inspire genuine learning.

MODULE 7 – EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE & STUDENT WELLBEING
This module develops emotional awareness and empathy, equipping educators to build supportive classroom relationships. Teachers explore how to recognise student emotions, respond with care, and foster a culture of trust, respect, and resilience — inspiring deeper engagement and wellbeing.

Equipping educators with practical digital tools and ethical AI integration skills for smarter lesson planning, resource creation, and classroom engagement. Teachers explore how technology can save preparation time, enhance learning experiences, and build lasting digital confidence.

This module inspires educators to embrace lifelong learning and step into leadership roles within their schools. Teachers develop a growth mindset, refine their ability to mentor peers, and create a personalised professional development plan that sustains their growth long after the programme ends.
